Fresher L16 engine in the bay, but I still have the original factory
fitted L16 in the shed (One day I will rebuild it), this way the engine
numbers will match the factory identification tag.
(Engine fitted in the car at the moment will have different internal specs, as
per factoy as she is quite a lot faster now with the new engine

Compression ratio 8.5 : 1
Maximum torque 13.8 kg/m @ 4000 rpm (99.8 ft/lb @ 3600 rpm)
Compression pressure @ 350 rpm 12.0 kg/cm`2 (171 psi)
Ignition timing 10 degrees btdc
Inlet valves 38.0 mm (1.50 inch)
Exhaust valves 33 mm (1.30 inch)Camshaft lobe lift 6.65 mm (0.261 inch)
Gearbox: 4 speed floor shift manual, final gear ratio 3.700
Factory H190 differential
Factory specified maximum speed : 159 km/h (99MPH)
Braking : Factory fitted twin reservoir master cylinder with Drum Brakes
on the rear and Disk brakes on the front.
I have had the rear springs reset as low as possible, with a extra
leaf added, and 2 2 inch lowering blocks were also added.
(This deffinatly stiffened things up)
I also fitted 2.5 inch lowered and stiffened springs to the front
end to even things up.
She has 1999 Suberu WRX Sti front seats and retractable seatbelts fitted to
the front.
I have also fitted a Factory tacho (Thanks heaps Eddie).
She has a Alpine CD/Radio player fitted, matched up to a pair of Alpine 6 x
9's
She has 14 inch alloys fitted, with Pirrelli P6000's (195/65/14's), soon
to be upgraded to 15 inch alloys.
She is my daily driver.
