After fitting the Paradat rims the car looked like a 4×4. I managed to find a set of new old stock lowering springs for a Cherry turbo and at a really low price it would have been rude not to buy them.

I Had a set of Paradat 100+ rims from my 180B and decide to fit them onto the cherry to see how it looks. Have to say it looks great with those rims. Only thing i would do when it required new tyres is drop the width a little i think the 195′s are a little on the wide side.

Our latest purchase a 1983 Datsun Cherry 1.0DX with 21k miles on the clock. A funny story of how it became our car. Its only a 2 owner car the origonal family owned it from new and then sold it to the person i bought it from who only owned it for a few weeks.

The Cherry (チェリー)name was still used in Europe on the model N12, an angular, hatchback design.
The N12 model was known as the Nissan Pulsar (パルサー) in Japan, but was called Cherry in Europe. Engine choices were carried over from the previous model, consisting of Nissan’s E-Series motor in 1.0L, 1.3L and 1.5.
