Symptoms
Loss of power, erratic idle (more so when cold) boost spikes (loss of total power during overtake), excessive smoke out the back under hard accelration etc.
If you contact Nissan and say the above they will probably say you need a new diesel pump but that’s not really true.
What you do need it a new suction control valve, AKA fuel pressure regulator in the diesel pump.

Poor old Laurel needed some much TLC. On finding a crack on the chassis leg i decided to remove the rear axle and fuel tank to repair the area.

i have decide to break this car due to the poor condition on the underside, probably cause by it sitting for so long.
anyone looking for any parts from it please get in touch asap. I have already sold some parts from it.

I will be sending off to the crusher very soon :(

The last post you saw some pictures of a freshened up E13 and 5 speed.
At the weekend we had some nice weather so a few hours where set aside to remove the E10 with 4 speed and fit the E13 and 5 speed.

After fitting a new Blue Print clutch to engine
The gearbox finally rejoined the engine ready to be fitted into out Cherry.
