After fitting the Paradat rims the car looked like a 4×4. I managed to find a set of new old stock lowering springs for a Cherry turbo and at a really low price it would have been rude not to buy them.

I Had a set of Paradat 100+ rims from my 180B and decide to fit them onto the cherry to see how it looks. Have to say it looks great with those rims. Only thing i would do when it required new tyres is drop the width a little i think the 195’s are a little on the wide side.

Our latest purchase a 1983 Datsun Cherry 1.0DX with 21k miles on the clock. A funny story of how it became our car. Its only a 2 owner car the origonal family owned it from new and then sold it to the person i bought it from who only owned it for a few weeks.

After the couple bits of skuttle repair i decided to remove the front supension and underseal the both inner wings to protect them.

After finsihing the drivers side i moved on to the other side thinking this should be easier due to it being nice and flat. I started by removing the panel and cleaning up the under panels. the heater fan had to be removed to clean out the bits of rust that fell in

I had to start but removing panels so that i could get access to the sections needing repaired. Off with the bonnet, both front wings, corner lamps and bumper
